Roaring 20's Our church NYE party is the biggest bash we throw in the whole year and it's a definite go big or go home type of planning. Nicole and I are blessed to work with such a talented team of individuals who are not just hard working and crafty but also incredibly creative and diligent. We plan for weeks every last detail. As you can see even our walls had beautiful Art Deco pieces that look effortless and easy but actually took an unsurmountable amount of time and precision. Most of what we use to create our pieces mainly consist of poster board, foam board, wood and tons of glue gun glue. Light weight and inexpensive is our motto but with the right elements, colors and pizzaz you can create magic! Modest Flappers The roaring 20's theme was Nicoles idea and when the quest for modest flapper dresses began it seemed impossible. Most of them are above the knee and or sleeveless. It took some time but we both finally found some unique pieces we love that we know we can wear again for another occasion. Unfortunately both our dresses are sold out but for reface hers is from Macy's and mine is from ASOS "A star is born," collection. If you haven't ever checked out they're pieces for that line you should. They are some of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen! ~ 2019 ~ I have no exact idea what to expect this year. In the end of 2018 many things changed for us in a good way. The direction of our plans and hopes has definitely shifted. Our vision for this blog and its purpose is still being molded into something new that we're still not quite sure what that will look like in the future. Our ministries have expanded and taken on new horizons for which we are grateful and above all our true passion has stood out clearer than the brightest day. Our focus, our love, our reason and life's work is to magnify Gods kingdom. For what can we take from this world when we leave if it not what we've done for the Lord. With love, Steph
