Hello Monday! I have to say my weekend was great! As always a lot of work to do but when you do it gladly everything turns out for the better! I'll start by sharing my outfit with you gals. I was planning to wear something else but with the rush of time I threw this together. A beautiful floral top I recently purchase at Good Will for like $7 (yay for your savvy thrifters out there we are in the same boat) and my shoes are from there as well! Brand new and only $8. There is not always a need to shop at Macy's at least not in my book. If it's cute it's in my closet, that simple! Here goes my purple and yellow dilemma... So I thought purple and yellow is so Lakers. I didn't wanna look like an LA cheerleader however purple and yellow looked great together even before this LA team decided to shot gun this famous color combo and I think I succesfully managed to not make you think of the Lakers in my outfit (that is until now) or at least I hope. Opposites attract and that was my inspiration for this ootd. I do have purple shoes and a purple purse but using alternating bright colors is what will really brighten up your look and make it look out of the ordinary. Needless to say being bold pays off and has you lookin fabulous!
On another note remember God has all things under control and even though we don't know our end result in His hands everything always ends up good even when we can't see it. Trust His word!
May you all have a blessed week!
Hugs ~ Steph
Recently we were asked by Ashley from Modestly Hot if we wanted to collaborate with her and other fellow bloggers to come up with modest Disney princess inspired looks. Of course we said yes! I was having such a hard time choosing a princess as I love all of them so much, but I ended up choosing Ariel! I was a little scared of pairing purple and green together but it ended up looking super cute. I paired this purple three- quarter length sleeve top from Loft with sequin in a wave pattern, that added that perfect ocean affect! I then added this dark green satin skirt that made for a perfect tail! 😉 My favorite part of this look are my accessories! My sister made me these amazing pieces to go with my Ariel inspired outfit! She handmade me a starfish headband with shells, jewels, pearls, and even some coral! To go with that she also made me a belt that is so beautiful! It has a beautiful seashell as the buckle and all around the belt she added super cute shells and jewels! They really did make the outfit! Lastly, I added my little gold flats with jewels on them that were perfect they added just enough to the outfit without taking away from the main focus, like my headband or belt (obviously ). 😆 Who says you can't make Ariel modest? This is definitely one of my favorite photo shoots I've ever done! BTW the water was actually so freezing lol but the pictures came out amaze-beans!!
