Less than a month ago my sis and I were contacted by Antoinette Farquaharson from the UK. Miss Antoinette runs this fabulous blog called Apostolic Girls Closet where she shares outfits, her adventures with clothing, and how to's such as "How to make a dress longer" and many more ideas. She contacted us in the hopes of initiating an interview with P.Kid Chicks and we were more than excited to participate. It's really great to see that there's more young women motivated to spread the word and make a change, even if it's a blog post at a time. On another note, my sister and I decided to initiate a Vlog where we answered some questions that we frequently get asked. We thought it would be nice to share our perspective and FYI we are totally opened to Q & A's! So yes if you'd like to check out our video it will be on the right hand side of our site. Finally, last but not least P.Kid Chicks will officially be starting an online fashion store to motivate, encourage, and continue to share faith through fashion! Modest pieces, and cute style ideas is our goal with an emphasis on pleasing the most important one of all, God.
About a week ago my sis and coincidentally wore bright lime green to church the same day. Although our styles are so different it shows that when it comes to weather bright colors are a sure inspiration. I went highlighter crazy and wore a bright red orange pencil with a bright lime green button up blouse and striped color filled heels that matched perfectly. I love how fun clothes can be and although many people would deem dressing modest as boring, well I think we showed them! I love it! It's is the best feeling ever to dress in a beautiful manner for God and still have the world appreciate what The Lord has done in us. Recieving compliments in and out of church proves that our way of dressing attracts both believers and non believers so don't limit your mentality to thinking you don't look up to date with trends. Pentecostals! We are making our own fashion statement! :) On another note my sis wore her beautiful black satin pencil from Forever 21 and a hi-low like green shirt with a black straw belt that totally complimented her A-line. It was nice to finally take a matching photo of us together and share our outfits with everyone! God bless and stay tuned as P.Kid Chicks will be selling online fashion pieces very soon!
