Lately I've been a dire fan of emerald green. It's not just something I like, it's becoming quite an obsession. I'm not sure if it's because the fall season is inspiring me or what it is but this color is hearts gorgeous and more so in this beautiful taffeta green pencil skirt from BKOZ store. I really think it's beautiful and with BKOZ stores recent launch, it's no wonder they're already selling out of many styles. I am a serious fan of this skirt! It's cute, easy to style, and the color is to die for. I paired it with this fun print from H&M and both colors matched perfectly.
I love partnering up with modest shops! Mainly because no.1 I believe women should work together to empower each other. No.2 we are all working for the same cause to spread modest fashion and no.3 they all promote modesty in their own unique way. So cheers to us women!
May we continue to support one another, bless one another, and most importantly love one another like the sisters in Christ we all are.

It's a quiet Saturday morning and something I haven't done in a while is sit back with a cup of tea and have myself a good read. I'm not the book type of girl and to be honest the only books I've read besides college books and my Bible are magazines. Now we've all heard of main brand name magazines like Vogue, Glamour, Cosmoplitan, and all those juicy celeb gossip ones like Star Magazine. I've actually been guilty to have owned a couple of these in the past and honestly I don't buy them anymore. All I would find was a lot of sexual content, rude remarks about celebs, (if it was a celeb gossip magazine) and nothing but messages that weren't relatable to me. Nothing was modest, nothing was life changing and nothing was edifying. So, I gave up on magazines and just stuck to blogs; up until now that is. Coincidentally I heard of Luca Magazine through it's EIC Celestial Williams who, by the way, is the sweetest Editor-In-Chief ever! She's nothing like Miranda from "The Devil Wears Prada." Just look at her wearing one of our skirts. I even had the opportunity to speak with Christine Robertson the CEO of Luca and man oh man was she awesome! Honestly, words fall short she was super cool and a down to earth person. She's without a doubt one of the most positive, uplifting women I've ever spoken with. When I grow up (and I'm 27 lol) I want to be just like these 2 women. Seriously they inspire me and it's no wonder such a great magazine has resulted from this great duo. Luca has a positive message for young women sharing stories and news that I actually want to read about. Thank heavens I don't have to be bombarded with half naked ads and it's really something that I could recommend to any young teen/adult. Knowing all the content is good and inspiring is what has motivated me to speak about it here on my blog. So cheers to Luca I lift my tea cup to ya! Here's a few pics of me reading their latest fall issue with Sadie Robertson on the cover. I absolutely love her interview and all the wonderful things she has to share. There's also a great story on Roma Boots (a company that is one for one) and supports giving back to those less fortunate. I'm telling you Luca is good vibes all over. It's really no wonder Luca means bringer of light. That's exactly what Luca Magazine is doing bringing some light with a positive message to fuel this dim world.
