Floral aesthetics
There's something very magical about a blooming floral bush. Even more so when I feel inspired by a beautiful outfit with bold elements. I've had my eye on this skirt from Chicwish for a couple months now, it's called the 'Applause of Ruffle Tiered Skirt' and with good reason! It very much so has a well deserved applause. It's so beautiful and voluminous! Personally I love blue skirts since I think they add a dreamy feel to a look but this one takes the cake. I've linked it above for those of you who will also join in on the "applause". Never give up on lace Some pieces in my closet I will never give up on. I do get rid of certain items quickly but then there are those that are timeless and you can certainly style again and again to keep on making magic. I purchased this top a long time ago from Marshalls and though I don't wear it often it does make a debut every once in a while. I found a similar on on the Chicwish website too that I found just as beautiful as the one I'm wearing. Bare foot babe If I could live barefoot I would. I actually prefer it but I do love myself some beautiful heels with dramatic height. These sky high heels are from Just Fab. They always have amazing deals so they're worth checking out in my opinion! Since I don't celebrate Halloween I leave you all with my Red Forest vibes. Wishing you all a blessed Wednesday! top: Target | jacket: Ross | jeans: H&M | flats: H&M | backpack: Clairs Unicorn Babe
This morning Kira my not so little girl anymore *tear* asked me to give her unicorn hair for crazy hair day. She is obsessed with unicorn everything so it wasn’t a surprise, however I was completely unprepared and ran to my craft drawer for inspiration. I grabbed everything I had that gave me unicorn vibes and went to work. It turned out so great without having to use fake hair or colored sprays and she was still super satisfied. The Steps I parted her hair into a U at the front and proceeded to grab the rest in a high ponytail. After I used some glitter cardstock and a glue gun to make a cone that would resemble her unicorn horn. I put two small holes across from each other near the bottom base and secured it with string while wrapping it around her pony tail. After I took the front loose hair, split it down the middle and crossed one side over and wrapped it around the base of the cone, then secured it with a bobby pin. The same went for the other side. After the hair style and the horn were in place I used a chain link of jewels and secured that to her ponytail again using string. I had sticky rhinestones that I put all over her hair and used gel and gold glitter throughout to add even more sparkle. Braids wrapped with string and gold foil ribbon were done in the pony tail. Happy Client She was in awe of what I came up with in just a couple minutes all thanks to my trusty craft drawer. She left so excited and feeling like the glam unicorn she wanted to portray. Plus her outfit definitely helped fuel the unicorn vibes as well! Hope you guys had as much fun checking this out as I did creating it. With love, Steph |
