Fall is finally upon us! Even if fall here in California is considered 60 degree weather. Fall is by far my favorite season. We can wear sweaters, tights, boots, and everything cozy. We recently collaborated with Dainty Jewells who came out with their fall collection, which is perfect for a modest fall lover, like myself. I decided to go with their gingham sweater dress because I mean who wouldn't want a sweater dress?
This black and white gingham print is perfect for a crisp fall day. The thick sweater material definitly keeps you feeling warm and cozy. It also so easy to style and you can chose so many different color combinations. I decided to go with black and grey accessories, but I also think maroon would pair beautifully with this dress. The delicate ruffles on the wrists and neckline give it the perfect dainty-ness. It was actually freezing on the day we took the pictures, but thanks to the sweater dress it was warm and also looked very stylish.
Here you can see the dress in all go its gingham glory. The length of the dress is also so perfect. It falls right below the knee, not too long and not too short. Dainty Jewells also carries other sweater dresses, in different prints and patterns. I would recommend you go check them out if you've been looking for the perfect cozy fall dress.

For all those who know a little about me you'll know that I'm probably border line black & white obsessed. I find any b&w print thrilling and it completely wins me over. In a way I feel these 2 colors embody my taste in fashion and on another note this color combination never goes out of style. I guess there's a reason why we're all so fascinated by old school vintage. That being said we recently collaborated with Dainty Jewell's on their fall line and I have to say bravo to Mrs. Charity (designer of DJ) on the wonderful designs. I was captivated by all the black & white prints she used, but this houndstooth print dress in particular absolutely won me over. A two piece peplum dress with gold buttons at the sleeves that was you guessed it, so me!
Here you can really see the peplum look and of course I chose to accessorize with lots of black to make the look more dramatic. I can't help it, I love fashion drama even if some think it's a bit over the top at times. I am who I am and fringe me up with some fur on the side!
Don't you just love these fab new strap heels? I got them for just $15 at Reflections. I have to admit they are ubberly comfortable. With my hair I decided to attempt a 1940/50's hair style and when my dad said I looked like Lucy I knew I pulled it off.
The great thing about this look is that I can use the top or skirt seperatly and if you love this outfit there's the same cut in other colors and prints as well! I was even overcome by the cute little version of this dress available of little girls. Over all I know for a fact this dress will be one of my go to pieces this season. Until next time my dearies & a special thanks to Dainty Jewell's for being fabulous!
