The Artsy Girl
Alright, I'm back with holiday looks pt.2. I think this is probably my fav look of all 4 mainly because of the fun patterns on the blouse and how they combine with my heels. In general I love artsy girl looks because they always tend to be a little eccentric and slightly over the top if not completely. My favorite color combinations are usually colorful but hey this is a "holiday look" post so I had to make it artsy but keep it in tune with our typical December colors of red or green. No rainbow looks for this girl unless you want people to think you attended the wrong holiday party... opps!
So the Look!
This gorgeous top (we're considering bringing it into our shop) is a baroque inspired black and white print with a white lace collar. Pearl beading around the neckline as well as tiny rhinestones on the lace layer. I knew the top was very eye catching and for my main focus I wanted the top and shoes to be the perfect pair. Unique, artsy and black and white. The two complimented each other so well I believe it was meant to be and adding a classic burgundy ball gown truly created that wow factor for me. Added some glam with a rhine stone belt and an umbrella since it was a rainy day during my photo shoot. Plus I think the umbrella actually added a little something extra to my outfit don't you? Over all if your thinking of going artsy girl on your holiday wear I say go for it! Rock your fun prints and use those gorgeous holiday colors to create a look that will dazzle and inspire!

Every time I turn on the radio there's nothing but holiday music on and the smells of cinnamon, apple and pine are everywhere. Even I have a winter scented candle here at home. So with all this holiday frenzy going on I decided to bring forth 4 holiday looks for you ladies that are looking for some seasonal inspiration. All looks are different yet me in some way which is fun to share. Styles for the Laid Back Girlie Girl, The Artsy Girl, The Elegant Dame & The Holiday Diva! Today will be the first pt. of 4. Hopefully you gals can stay tuned and let me know which look is your fave!
The Laid Back Girlie Girl
Going festive can be a challenge without heels yet there is a way to have both without having to sacrifice your comfort. Personally I don't mind heels but I do know a few ladies including my sister who just don't dig them as much as I do. So here's a great solution for you to keep that holiday glam without the funny limping after 2 hours of walking. Anything gold, silver, sequin, glittery, sparkly or shiny. I've come to the conclusion that glam flats make up for not wearing heels when you want your look to be elegant. So here are my feet savers, these lovely gold Oxfords by Sam Edelman are not just comfortable but sooo beautiful! I wanted the holiday glam so I went ball gown on this look and since it's a girlie girl look it had to be pink! The theme was the color gold and so I found this top that offset the pink and gold by adding grey but still staying in the color palate due to the gold sequin and the softer tones. This top is a PINK tee shirt by Victoria Secret (comfy & cute). Paired up a vintage gold link belt and gold chain watch to play up that gold vibe and for the laid back part added a long coat like cardigan from Windsor.
Totally glam in pink and gold, cute and perfect to feeling comfortable at any holiday party not matter how long it lasts.
Bringing in the Artsy girl tomorrow! (Stay tuned)
Hugs ~ Steph
