High and low I've searched for a modest velvet dress and it was the most daunting task ever! I was extremely excited when I found out Daniella Faye was going to come out with one in several colors! If you don't know about her she is a designer from Israel living in Israel who specializes in modest clothing and head turban wraps that are just a beautiful as her dresses. So if your wondering this dress traveled all the way from the holy land to my little hands.
Not only is the cut of this dress flattering, the fabric is ridiculously gorgeous and on top of that this dress is absolutely comfortable! I do recommend always having a lint roller handy as velvet tends to attract lint but that's a small price to pay for such a regal looking garment. Kira my 7 year old said I looked like a Queen lol! I ran with it and said thank you and honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see the Duchess of Cambridge in this dress. I'm sure she'd think it befitting to her taste as well.
I know many of you loved the preview photo on IG so I'm happy to share that you can all get 10% your dress with code PKIDCHICKS10 when you DM @daniella.faye on IG or PM Daniella Faye on Facebook. I can promise you won't regret getting this dress! I believe it's flattering for many different body types since it's a stretchy thick material and will look great with a vaierty of shoe styles.
Stay warm everyone! I know it's been snowing in many places and raining in others so be careful my dears.

On a regular day I wear flats, on a day out I wear heels and on a rainy day I wear boots but just to share this glitz and glam look I decided to sacrifice my little legs and step out into the cold, wet rain. I'm sure I did the weather a favor by adding some sparkle and great fashion sense into this greyish day and what makes me even more excited is that I get to share not just a look I hope will inspire your NYE choices but will also get your hands down and glittery with this amazing Glitter Heels and Belt DIY now live on YouTube!
You heard that right, these heels and the belt are a DIY which means you can literally create a pair for yourself! For those of you that wonder what to spend your time on this winter break I highly recommend this project. If so I'm sure you'll be happy you decided to try it out.
More about the outfit... I'm a lover of black and white but I also wanted to mix prints and keep this look very festive by chosing to style neutrals and letting the shoes and belt be that pop of color in my outfit. It's not a quiet look by any means and it shouldn't be if were talking New Years Eve! I literally mixed and matched old pieces from my closet (a turtle neck was a must because of the weather) and I let the accesories do the talking. Now you tell me if they spoke to ya and if so you can check out my video down below to get your glitz and glam going on this holiday season.
Because even rainy days deserve some sparkle.
Smile on and happy holidays everyone!
