I am pooped, tired and in bed most of the day. It's as if I can't do much but lie on my side with a bag of chips and a cold lemonade. I know, I know it sounds lazy and über sad like I got issues or something but really I'm just very pregnant. I see many other active prego moms who even do workouts at 36 weeks and wow does my jaw drop. Yea motherhood is beautiful and yes feeling a life form inside of you is beyond words but honestly I don't like being pregnant and it sort of sucks a little. Nothing fits right, my closet hates me and time is not on my side when getting ready. On the upside (now that I vented) baby's almost done cooking and life as we know it will inevitably change but I will be free from invasion! That alone is a great thing and my biggest plus my new plus 1 is almost here. Yes I'm in love and meanwhile I day dream of the future weeks to come here's an ootd I pulled together hoping to inspire us all that even when we don't feel so great you can still look it. Oh don't we just love deceiving the world? Lol
Here was my Sunday look in this fabulous vintage wool skirt I had stashed in my closet. Lucky for me it's stretchy, comfy and most importantly fit around baby and I. I went all metallic accesories to add some bling as you can see it really compliments the camel brown color of the skirt.
I wore a leather vest to mix and match textures, I think wool always looks so good with leather looks and it also helps a baby bump not look so huge. Not that being huge is bad but I do want people looking at my face and not my belly all the time.
Sunday felt like a pleated pumpkin and though I would normally say no pleats when trying to look slimmer I don't think there's such thing as being pregnant and looking slimmer. So I threw in the towel and embraced the pleats, literally!
Now I would like to share that it was recently my birthday. Yay me & no I'm not sharing numbers... jk I'm now 26 but my debut point is my new MK bag (courtesy of Mom & Nicole). I've been wanting an all gold bag forever and needless to say I was birthday satisfied. With all the recent sales take advantage ladies and don't miss out on those fab outlet store if you can get to one.
Out of my tired week and swollen feet I feel I successfully brought out w cute mommy outfit and most importantly I'm still surviving! I wish you a great rest of the week! Can't wait for fall looks, falling leaves and my fall baby that will be rocking fashion along side me.
