If your good on the pink & blue I'm sure you've already caught on... However, for those who just see some cute balloons well I'm excited to announce that I'm currently expecting. I've known for some time now but like most Moms I wanted to wait until I felt comfortable enough to write about it. I now feel in trend since I've noticed that everyone around me is also pregnant and it's very cute to see so many expecting Moms to be. To enlighten you on my new change in life it was very much desired. Although my husband and I had plans to wait a little longer before expanding our family a lot of prayer and thought was placed into the hopes of bringing a new baby into this world. I've always thought that letting God know of our plans and asking Him to allow His will to be done in our lives is the best way to make decisions. Not only because He knows what's to come, but more so because His timing is perfect. Many couples plan and prepare for years yet things don't always have the best results. Not to say life isn't precious but I believe God knows when we're ready for new changes in life; ready spiritually, ready in our marriage, ministry, financially, etc. Only He knows the right moment and it's up to us to trust Him. Letting His will be done and applying this can and should be in all the areas of your life or atleast I hope it's something you can think about but for now here are the rest of my photos that I hope you enjoy.
We went to a beautiful park in San Bernardino, Ca called "Seccombe Lake Park" where this lovely little bridge served as the perfect setting for our photos. There are ducks and squirrels every where and although it's (surprisingly) quite abandoned it's very nice.
Kira was not very willing to smile at first and who can blame her, she was napping 15 minutes before the shoot. What did I do? Asked nicely that she smile and I believe the Disneyland offer also had something to do with it. Sometimes you just gotta giv'em a little motivation (wink).
Although we don't yet know the gender of our baby I wanted to wear something girly and feminine. We all coordinated in a subtle yet cohesive look with our main color being baby pink/beige. For the sake of getting some great family portraits I believe getting your outfits just right has a lot to do with how they'll come out. (just a tip)
Finally my sister and I who coincidentally coordinated and whose outfit I love took one last photo. Just so you all know she is my photographer and I hers and my husband ours. I do have many talented photographer friends but it's not always possible to have people on location when you need them and there's something very relaxing about having your sis or hubs take the pic. Their brutally honest (which is good) and they know your best angles lol. I just wanted to take the time to thank Nicole for her patience and good work. Over all I ask that you keep the health of my baby in your prayers because you can never have too much prayer ;)
Until next time...
